Tanto Wall Light
The Tanto Wall Light by Bert Frank brings a slender, sculptural silhouette to interiors. A cylindrical opal glass diffuser sits between two asymmetrically arranged brass rods, held together by a distinctive shield that gives the design its architectural character.
Available in Small and Large sizes, Tanto pairs softly diffused illumination with a choice of polished marble or sand-cast brass shields. The new sand-cast options introduce a textured material contrast, complementing the smooth glass and linear metalwork while retaining the design’s distinctive proportions.
Inspired by the contrasting forms of the samurai’s Katana and Tanto swords, this modernist wall light balances strength with refinement. Its narrow profile lends itself to placement between windows, as an individual feature or in a sequence along a wall.
