Il Fanale was founded by Dalla Torre and his wife Luise in 1979 in a small workshop, close to the city of Treviso in Italy. By combining their passion for lighting with their artisan knowledge, they had a mission to produce lamps of the highest quality.

Made in Italy, in San Biagio di Callalta on the outskirts of Treviso, Il Fanale products combine ancient techniques with cutting-edge technology to create fixtures with sophisticated design.

At the heart of Il Fanale’s designs are materials such as brass, copper and iron, which are treated by hand using special techniques that give each piece a unique and unrepeatable look. They are then combined with the finest local materials such as Murano glass and Bassano ceramics.

Design is a balancing act between shape, function and technology. Combining essentiality and decor, Il Fanale designs are the post-modern expression of a contemporary style that is always timeless.
